News - Skyreach Adds New Knuckle Boom To Fleet
A new model articulating boom lift, the Skyreach KB63D, has been added to the Skyreach fleet of boom lifts.
Combining a working height of 21.2m (69'7") a horizontal reach of 12.2m (40') and an up-and-over clearance of 8.4m (27'6"), this model is designed for the ultimate in versatility.
In the workplace, the 360° turret rotation and zero tail swing allow for flexible operation in tight locations. This compliments the superior positive traction and axle based 4WD carrier.
The Skyreach KB63D features a unique open centre knuckle riser design for improved visibility, compact dimensions and low-reach capability. Dual lifting cylinders provide superior comfort and stability while also maintaining true vertical rise which prevents drifting forward or backwards.
According to Rod Leech, MD of Skyreach, the latest addition to the rental fleet is already in high demand with Skyreach clients.
"This is a very versatile knuckle boom lift which has very broad appeal," said Rod Leech.
"The platform height of 19.38m is right in the sweet spot demanded by maintenance and construction contractors."
The big appeal of the Skyreach KB63D is the compact footprint on the work site. Combined with the zero tail swing feature, this model is very safe to operate in congested locations.
